     Martin Arnold Buckmaster was born on 2 August 1862.1 He was the son of John Charles Buckmaster and Emily Anne Goodliffe.1 He married Dorothy Mary Dyer, daughter of William John Dyer, on 4 February 1910.1 He died on 14 August 1960 at age 98.1
     He was an art master and examiner.1 He was arts master at Tonbridge School, Tonbridge, Kent, EnglandG.2 He was registered as a Associate, Royal College of Art (A.R.C.A.)1 He was registered as a Honorary Associate, Royal institute of British Architects (A.R.I.B.A.)1

     Dorothy Mary Dyer was the daughter of William John Dyer.1 She married Martin Arnold Buckmaster, son of John Charles Buckmaster and Emily Anne Goodliffe, on 4 February 1910.1 She died on 5 October 1969.1
     She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)1 From 4 February 1910, her married name became Buckmaster.

     From 27 July 1946, her married name became Williams. She was awarded the British Empire Medal (B.E.M.)1

     Edith Augusta Lewin was the daughter of Spencer Robert Lewin.1 She married Stanley Owen Buckmaster, 1st Viscount Buckmaster, son of John Charles Buckmaster and Emily Anne Goodliffe, on 29 December 1889.1 She died on 23 October 1935.1
     From 29 December 1889, her married name became Buckmaster. After her marriage, Edith Augusta Lewin was styled as Baroness Buckmaster on 14 June 1915. After her marriage, Edith Augusta Lewin was styled as Viscountess Buckmaster on 24 February 1933.

Owen Stanley Buckmaster, 2nd Viscount Buckmaster1

     Owen Stanley Buckmaster, 2nd Viscount Buckmaster was born on 24 September 1890.1 He was the son of Stanley Owen Buckmaster, 1st Viscount Buckmaster and Edith Augusta Lewin.1 He married, firstly, Joan Simpson, daughter of George Augustus Garry Simpson, on 21 December 1916.1 He and Joan Simpson were divorced in 1944.1 He married, secondly, Diana Constance Seth-Smith, daughter of Major Kenneth Arthur Seth-Smith, on 23 January 1961.1 He died on 25 September 1974 at age 84.1
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.2 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1912 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 ) He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1913 entitled to practise as a barrister.2 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant on 30 October 1914.3 He gained the rank of Captain on 2 June 1915 in the 7th Battalion, Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Buckmaster [U.K., 1933] on 5 December 1934.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Buckmaster, of Cheddington, co. Buckingham [U.K., 1915] on 5 December 1934.2 He was a member of the Committee of the London Stock Exchange between 1938 and 1942.2 He gained the rank of Major in the Home Guard.1
