     Malcolm Crawfurd of Kilbirnie was born circa 1551.2 He was the son of Hugh Crawfurd of Kilbirnie and Margaret Colquhoun.1 He married Margaret Cunningham, daughter of John Cunningham of Glengarnock and Margaret Fleming.1 He died in 1595.2 He died in 1592.1
     He lived at Crawford Castle, Kilbirnie, Ayrshire, ScotlandG.3 He was also known as Malcolm Crawford.3

     Laurence Crawfurd of Kilbirnie was born circa 1506.3 He was the son of Robert Crawfurd and Margaret Sempill.1,4 He married Helen Campbell, daughter of Hugh Campbell of Loudoun and Isobel Wallace.4 He died on 4 June 1547 at Kilbirnie, Renfrewshire, Scotland.1,4,2

     Robert Crawfurd was born circa 1482.2 He was the son of Malcolm Crawford and Marion Crichton.1,2 He married Margaret Sempill, daughter of Thomas Sempill and Elizabeth Ross, on 11 March 1502.2,3 He died on 9 September 1513 at Flodden Field, Northumberland, England, killed in action.3
     He fought in the Battle of Flodden on 9 September 1513.3
