     Egerton Stewart-Brown was born on 31 January 1862.1 He was the son of Stewart Henry Brown and Emily Frances Sarah Birkett.1 He married Nessie Muspratt, daughter of Edmond Knowles Muspratt and Frances Jane Baines, on 12 September 1888.1 He died on 11 August 1938 at age 76.1

     From 12 September 1888, her married name became Stewart-Brown.1
