John Edward Brooks, Baron Brooks of Tremorfa was born on 12 April 1927.1 He is the son of Edward George Brooks and Rachel White.1 He married an unknown person in 1948.1 He and an unknown person were divorced in 1956.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Pringle in 1958.1
He was educated at Coleg School, Harlech, Merionethshire, WalesG.1 He was educated at University College, Cardiff, Glamorgan, WalesG.1 He was Secretary of the Cardiff South-East Constituency, Labour Party between 1966 and 1984.1 He was created Baron Brooks of Tremorfa, of Tremorfa in the County of Glamorgan [U.K. Life Peer] in 1979.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of South Glamorgan in 1994.1 He lived in 2003 at 46 Kennerleigh Road, Rumney, Cardiff, Glamorgan, WalesG.1

Jeremy Nicholas Hutchinson, Baron Hutchinson of Lullington was born on 28 March 1915.2 He was the son of St. John Hutchinson and Mary Barnes.3 He married, firstly, Edith Margaret Emily Ashcroft, daughter of William Worsley Ashcroft, in 1940.4 He and Edith Margaret Emily Ashcroft were divorced in 1966.3 He married, secondly, June Mary Capel, daughter of Captain Arthur Edward Capel and Hon. Diana Lister, in May 1966.2 He died on 13 November 2017 at age 102.5
He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England.3 He graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)3 He fought in the Second World War.3 He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.3 He was admitted to Middle Temple in 1939 entitled to practise as a barrister.3 He was appointed Queen's Counsel (Q.C.) in 1961.1 He held the office of Recorder of Bath between 1962 and 1972.3 He held the office of Bencher of Middle Temple in 1963.3 He held the office of Recorder of the Crown Court between 1972 and 1976.3 He was created Baron Hutchinson of Lullington, of Lullington in the County of East Sussex [U.K. Life Peer] on 16 May 1978.1
