Sir Frederic Hamilton of Silvertonhill, 5th Bt. was born on 14 December 1777.1 He was the son of John William Hamilton and Mary Anne St. George.2 He married Eliza Ducarel Collie, daughter of John Collie, on 20 February 1800.1 He died on 14 August 1853 at age 75.1
He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Hamilton, of Silvertonhill [N.S., 1646] on 10 August 1786.1 He was in the Honourable East India Company Service.1
