     Sir Charles Henry Marmaduke Blennerhassett, 8th Bt. was born on 18 July 1975.¹ He is the son of Sir Marmaduke Adrian Francis William Blennerhassett, 7th Bt. and Carolyn Margaret Brown.¹ He married Katherine Margaret Lloyd, daughter of Brian Selwyn Lloyd and Mary M. Healy, in 2014.²
     He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Blennerhassett, of Blennerville, co. Kerry [U.K., 1809] on 9 April 2022.³

     Alan de Blenerhayset was also known as Alan de Blennerhassett.² In 1354 he inherited property in Carlisle.¹ In 1362 he again inherited property in Carlisle.¹ He held the office of Mayor of Carlisle in 1382.¹ He held the office of Mayor of Carlisle in 1388.² He apparently sealed an indenture with the arms still borne by the family in 1390.² He held the office of Controller of the Customs in Cumberland in 1392.² He with John de Blennerhassett and Johanna (?) parties to a fine attesting lands at Arthuret, Etterby, Wampool, and eight other places in Cumberland in 1399 or 1400.²

     Dora Lushington Prendergast was born on 6 August 1803.¹ She was the daughter of Guy Lennox Prendergast and Dorothy Christian Lushington.¹

     Maria de Blenerhayset is the daughter of Alan de Blenerhayset.¹ She married William de Aglionby in 1391.¹
     She was also known as Maria de Blennerhassett.² From 1391, her married name became de Aglionby.²

     Paulina Jane Prendergast was born on 7 March 1805.¹ She was the daughter of Guy Lennox Prendergast and Dorothy Christian Lushington.¹
