     Christine Rose Quintal was born on 20 September 1890 at Hundred Acre, Norfolk Island.¹ She was the daughter of Gustave Adolph Krisman Quintal and Eleanor Catherine McCoy.¹ She married Rupert Young, son of John Forrester Young and Eliza Louisa Nobbs, on 1 October 1914 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She died on 2 December 1980 at age 90 at Norfolk Island^G.¹
