     William Drummond, 1st of Carnock was born in 1358.1 He was the son of Sir John Drummond, 11th of Lennox and Mary Montifex.1 He married Elizabeth Airth, daughter of Sir William Airth of that Ilk.2
     He was ancestor of the Drummonds of Carnock.3

     Sir William Bilsland, 1st Bt. was born on 17 March 1847.2 He was the son of James Bilsland and Agnes Blair.2 He married Agnes Anne Steven, daughter of Alexander Steven, on 16 September 1885. He died on 27 August 1921 at age 74.2
     He held the office of Lord Provost of Glasgow.2 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of the County and City of Glasgow between 1905 and 1908.2 He was created 1st Baronet Bilsland, of Park Circus, Glasgow [U.K.] on 25 November 1907.3 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Olaf of Norway.2 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.)4 He was appointed Order of the Sacred Treasure of Japan.2

     She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)2 From before 1942, her married name became Mair.1 From 15 December 1942, her married name became Beveridge.1
