     Sir Samuel Barnardiston, 2nd Bt. was born on 28 January 1659/60.¹ He was the son of Nathaniel Barnardiston and Elizabeth Bacon.¹ He was baptised on 9 February 1659/60 at Hackney, London, England^G.¹ He married Martha Richmond, daughter of Thomas Richmond, on 13 August 1709, with a portion of £6,000.¹ He died on 3 January 1709/10 at age 49 at Charter House yard, London, England^G, without issue.¹ He was buried on 11 January 1709/10 at Ketton, Suffolk, England^G.¹ His will (dated 20 January 1709/10) was proven (by probate) in December 1711.¹
