     Lady Ann Howard was born in 1650.2 She was the daughter of Charles Howard, 1st Earl of Carlisle and Hon. Anne Howard.1 She married Richard Graham, 1st Viscount Preston, son of Sir George Graham, 2nd Bt. and Lady Mary Johnstone, on 2 August 1670.1 She died in 1707.2
     Her married name became Graham.

Richard Graham, 1st Viscount Preston1

     Richard Graham, 1st Viscount Preston was born on 24 September 1648.2 He was the son of Sir George Graham, 2nd Bt. and Lady Mary Johnstone.2 He married Lady Ann Howard, daughter of Charles Howard, 1st Earl of Carlisle and Hon. Anne Howard, on 2 August 1670.1 He died on 22 November 1695 at age 47.2
     He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, EnglandG.2 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Graham, of Esk, Cumberland [E., 1629] on 19 March 1657/58.2 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Cockermouth between 1675 and 1681.2 He was created 1st Viscount Preston [Scotland] on 12 May 1681.2 He was created 1st Lord Graham of Esk [Scotland] on 12 May 1681.2 He held the office of Envoy Extraordinary to France in 1682.2 He was Master of the Great Wardrobe in 1685.2 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1685.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cumberland between 1685 and 1687.2 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Cumberland and Westmorland in 1687.2 He held the office of Secretary of State on 28 October 1688.2 From 30 May 1689 to 25 October 1689 he was imprisoned for alleged treason for the misdemenour of publishing his patent of creation as a peer by King James II.2 On 1 January 1690/91 he was imprisoned again for trason, and sentenced to death on 19 Jan 1690/1 but was pardoend and freed 13 June 1691.2 In August 1691 he was again imprisoned.2 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.3

     Captain William Robert Ewart Annesley was born on 7 July 1872.1 He was the son of Captain William Henry Annesley and Lucy Ann Kelly.1 He married Eleanor Mary Ferguson, daughter of Surgn.-Maj. William Ferguson, on 15 April 1906.1 He died on 22 February 1917 at age 44.1
     He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Berkshire Regiment.1

     He held the office of Governor of Fort Augustus.1 He held the office of Governor of Fort George.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Carlisle.1 He fought in the Battle of Fontenoy, where he commanded a Brigade.1 He fought in the Battle of Dettingen, where he commanded a Brigade.1 He was Colonel of the 19th Foot.1 He gained the rank of General in 1765.1 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.)1

     Jonathan Cope was the son of Sir Jonathan Cope, 1st Bt. and Mary Jenkinson.1 He married Lady Arabella Howard, daughter of Henry Howard, 4th Earl of Carlisle and Lady Frances Spencer.1 He married, secondly, Renea Leighton, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Francis Leighton and Renea Pinfold, on 26 January 1758.2 He died on 2 November 1763.2

     Thomas Duncombe was the son of Thomas Duncombe and Mary Slingsby.2 He married, firstly, Lady Diana Howard, daughter of Henry Howard, 4th Earl of Carlisle and Lady Frances Spencer, in 1740.2 He married, secondly, unknown daughter Jennings, daughter of Sir Philip Jennings-Clerke, 1st and last Bt. and Anne Thompson, in 1774.2 He married, thirdly, Charlotte Hale, daughter of William Hale and Elizabeth Farnaby.2 He died in 1779, without male issue.2
     He lived at Duncombe Park, Yorkshire, EnglandG.3 He lived at Helmsley, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1

     Henrietta Elizabeth Wright was the daughter of Ichabod Wright and Harriet Maria Day.2,3 She married Very Rev. Hon. Henry Edward John Howard, son of Frederick Howard, 5th Earl of Carlisle and Lady Margaret Caroline Leveson-Gower, on 13 July 1824.1 She died on 12 November 1892.1
     Her married name became Howard.
