     Lt. Sir Gawaine George Stuart Baillie of Polkemmet, 5th Bt. was born on 29 May 1893.1 He was the son of Sir Robert Alexander Baillie of Polkemmet, 4th Bt. and Isabel Wilkie.1 He died on 7 September 1914 at age 21 at FranceG, killed in action.1
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Baillie, of Polkemmet, Linlithgowshire [U.K., 1823] on 16 October 1907.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 2nd Dragoons, Scots Greys.1 He fought in the First World War.

     James Henry Leigh was born on 8 February 1765.1 He was the son of James Leigh and Lady Caroline Brydges.1,2 He married Hon. Julia Judith Twisleton, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Thomas Twisleton, 7th Baron Saye and Sele and Elizabeth Turner, on 8 December 1786 at Boughton, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He died on 27 October 1823 at age 58.1
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.3 He wrote the book The New Roscaid, published 1785.3 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)3 On 2 July 1806 he inherited Stoneleigh on the death of the 5th and last Baron Leigh of Stoneleigh's sister Mary.4 He held the office of High Sheriff of Winchester in 1819.3 He lived at Adlestrop, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1 He lived at Longborough, Warwickshire, EnglandG.4

Thomas Twisleton, 7th Baron Saye and Sele and Elizabeth Turner.1,2 She married James Henry Leigh, son of James Leigh and Lady Caroline Brydges, on 8 December 1786 at Boughton, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 She died on 8 February 1843 at age 71.1
     From 8 December 1786, her married name became Leigh.1

Maj.-Gen. Thomas Twisleton, 7th Baron Saye and Sele1

     Maj.-Gen. Thomas Twisleton, 7th Baron Saye and Sele was born circa 1735.2 He was the son of John Twisleton and Anne Gardner.2 He married Elizabeth Turner, daughter of Sir Edward Turner, 2nd Bt. and Cassandra Leigh, on 14 December 1767.2 He died on 1 July 1788, by his own hand.2
     He gained the rank of Ensign in 1754 in the Scots Guards.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant and Captain in 1758.2 He fought in the Battle of Brückmühle on 21 September 1762.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in 1777.2 He succeeded as the 7th Baron Saye and Sele [E., 1603] on 29 June 1781, when his claim to the title was allowed.3 He was Colonel of the 9th Foot between June 1782 and 1788.2 He gained the rank of Major-General in November 1782.2

     Theophilus Leigh was born circa 1643.2 He was the son of William Leigh and Joanna Perry.1,3 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Craven, daughter of Sir William Craven, in 1672.4 He married, secondly, Hon. Mary Brydges, daughter of James Brydges, 8th Baron Chandos of Sudeley and Elizabeth Barnard, on 28 November 1689.4 He died on 10 February 1724/25.4
