     Sophie of Polotzk was born circa 1140.1 She was the daughter of Vladimir, Duke of Novgorod and Richza of Poland.1 She married Valdemar I 'the Great' Knutsson, King of Denmark, son of Knut Lavard Eriksson, Duke of South Jutland and Ingeborg of Novgorod, circa 1154.1 She died in 1198.1
     She was also known as Sophia of Minsk.

     Ottokar I Premysl, King of Bohemia was born circa 1155 at Mestec Kralove, Czech republic.2,3 He was the son of Vladislav I, King of Bohemia and Judith von Thüringen.2 He married, firstly, Adelheid von Meißen, daughter of Otto Markgraf von Meißen and Hedwig von Brandenburg, in 1187.2 He married, secondly, Konstancia Arpád, Prinzessin von Ungarn, daughter of Béla III Arpád, King of Hungary and Agnes de Châtillon, in 1198.2 He and Adelheid von Meißen were divorced in 1198.2 He died on 15 December 1230.4
     He succeeded as the Duke of Bohemia in 1192.2 He was deposed as Duke of Bohemia in 1193.4 He succeeded as the Duke of Bohemia in 1197.4 He was created King Premysl Ottokar I of Bohemia in 1198.2

     Valdemar II 'the Victorious' Valdemarsson, King of Denmark was born on 9 May 1170. He was the son of Valdemar I 'the Great' Knutsson, King of Denmark and Sophie of Polotzk.1 He married Ingibiorg von Sachsen, daughter of Heinrich V Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg and Matilda of England, in 1202. He married Margaret of Bohemia, daughter of Ottokar I Premysl, King of Bohemia and Adelheid von Meißen, in 1205. He married Berengaria de Portugal, daughter of Sancho I de Bourgogne, Rei de Portugal and Dulcia de Provence, in 1213. He died on 28 March 1241 at age 70 at VordingborgG.
     He succeeded as the King Valdemar II of Denmark in 1202.2

     Helen Valdemarsdottir, Princess of Denmark was the daughter of Valdemar I 'the Great' Knutsson, King of Denmark and Sophie of Polotzk. She married William of Winchester Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg, son of Heinrich V Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg and Matilda of England, circa July 1202.1,2 She died on 22 November 1233.
     She gained the title of Princess Helen of Denmark.

     Ingeborg Valdemarsdottir was born circa 1175. She was the daughter of Valdemar I 'the Great' Knutsson, King of Denmark and Sophie of Polotzk. She married Philippe II Auguste Capet, Roi de France, son of Louis VII, Roi des Francs and Adele de Champagne, on 14 August 1193. She and Philippe II Auguste Capet, Roi de France were divorced in 1193.1 She died between 1237 and 1238.
