Reverend Edward Repton was baptised on 25 June 1782 at Norwich, Norfolk, England.1 He was the son of Humphry Repton and Mary Clarke.1 He married Mary Ellis Herbert on 27 November 1808 at Leyton, Essex, England.1 He died on 6 August 1860 at age 78 at St. Leonards on Sea, Sussex, England.1
