     St. Andrew St. John was born in 1827.¹ He was the son of Reverend Edward Beauchamp St. John and Jane Slade.² He died on 21 September 1854, unmarried.¹

     Penelope Ann Wyldbore-Smith was born on 2 May 1948.² She is the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Francis Brian Wyldbore-Smith and Hon. Molly Angela Cayzer.¹ She married James Emerson Herdman, son of John Patrick Herdman, on 18 October 1973.²
     From 18 October 1973, her married name became Herdman.²
