     George Beresford Knox was born in January 1830.1 He was the son of Reverend James Spencer Knox and Clara Barbara Beresford.2 He died in April 1921 at age 91.1
     He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the Londonderry Militia.1

     Henry John Reuben Dawson-Damer, 3rd Earl of Portarlington was born on 5 September 1822.1 He was the son of Captain Hon. Henry Dawson-Damer and Eliza Moriarty.1 He married Lady Alexandrina Octavia Maria Vane, daughter of Charles William Vane, 3rd Marquess of Londonderry and Lady Frances Anne Emily Vane-Tempest, on 3 September 1847.2 He died on 1 March 1889 at age 66, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Earl of Portarlington, in the Queen's County [I., 1785] on 27 May 1845.1 He succeeded as the 4th Lord Dawson, Baron Dawson of Dawson's Court, in the Queen's County [I., 1770] on 27 May 1845.1 He succeeded as the 4th Viscount Carlow, co. Carlow [I., 1776] on 27 May 1845.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He was appointed Representative Peer [Ireland] between 1855 and 1889.1 He was appointed Knight, Order of St. Patrick (K.P.) in 1879.1

     John Madden was born on 30 November 1819.2 He was the son of Charles Dudley Madden and Harriet Baxter.3 He married, firstly, Clara Elizabeth Knox, daughter of Reverend James Spencer Knox and Clara Barbara Beresford, on 1 January 1847.1 He married, secondly, Isabella Louisa Georgina Knox, daughter of Reverend James Spencer Knox and Clara Barbara Beresford, in July 1870.1 He died on 4 February 1903 at age 83.1
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.2 He was educated at St. Peter's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.2 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.2 He fought in the Afghan War between 1840 and 1842.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Monaghan.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 41st Regiment.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Fermanagh in 1848.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Fermanagh.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Monaghan in 1875.2 He lived at Roslea Manor, Roslea, County Fermanagh, IrelandG.1
