     Maud fitz John is the daughter of John fitz Geoffrey, Lord of Shere and Isabel le Bigod.¹ She married, firstly, Sir Gerard de Furnivalle, son of Thomas de Furnivalle and Bertha de Ferrers.¹ She married, secondly, William de Beauchamp, 9th Earl of Warwick, son of William de Beauchamp and Isabel Mauduit, circa 1270.¹ She died in April 1301.¹
     After her marriage, Maud fitz John was styled as Countess of Warwick circa 1270.
