     Samuel Charles Silkin, Baron Silkin of Dulwich was born on 6 March 1918.2 He was the son of Lewis Silkin, 1st Baron Silkin and Rosa Neft.3,2 He married, firstly, Elaine Violet Stamp, daughter of Arthur Stamp, on 31 January 1941.2 He married, secondly, Sheila Marian Jeal, daughter of A.
