     Sir Hugo Meynell FitzHerbert, 6th Bt. was born on 3 July 1872.² He was the son of Sir Richard FitzHerbert, 5th Bt. and Mary Anne Arkwright.² He married, firstly, Diana Isabel Erskine, daughter of Thomas Edward Erskine and Amy Gertrude Bruce, on 15 June 1920.¹ He and Diana Isabel Erskine were divorced in 1930.¹ He married, secondly, Muriel Dorey, daughter of J. A. Dorey, on 5 January 1931.² He died on 12 September 1934 at age 62, without issue.²
     He graduated from Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 8th Hussars.² He succeeded as the 6th Baronet FitzHerbert, of Tissington Hall, co. Derby [G.B., 1784] on 4 January 1906.² He held the office of High Sheriff of Nottinghamshire in 1909.²

     Henry Shipley Erskine, Lord Cardross was born on 21 August 1834.¹ He was the son of Henry Erskine, Lord Cardross and Jane Halliday Torrie.¹ He died on 21 September 1849 at age 15 at Leamington College, Leamington, Warwickshire, England^G, from scarlet fever.¹
     He was styled as Lord Cardross between 1836 and 1849.¹
