Frederick Lyon was born circa 1652.1 He was the son of John Lyon, 1st of Wester Ogil and Catherine Ogilvy of Balfour.2 He married Isobel Gramond.1 He died in September 1699.1

Harriet Sneyd was born in 1796 at Ireland.2 She was the daughter of Reverend Wetenhall Sneyd and Margaret Cullen.1,3 She married, firstly, Major Turner Macan, son of Major Robert Macan and Hannah Bagwell, on 14 November 1822 at St. John's Church, Fort William, India.2 She married William Henry Whitbread, son of Samuel Whitbread and Lady Elizabeth Grey, on 5 November 1845 at St. James's, Westminster, London, England.2 She died in 1871 at London, England.2

Lady Helen Lyon was the daughter of John Lyon, 4th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne and Lady Elizabeth Stanhope.1 She married Robert Stuart, 7th Lord Blantyre, son of Alexander Stewart, 5th Lord Blantyre and Anne Hamilton, in 1714.1 She died on 19 December 1723, without surviving issue.2
