Charting Service

Would you like a chart of one of the families on this web-site? I can now do that!

I have recently bought another large-format inkjet printer, which can print out charts up to 44 inches (1.1m) wide and up to 50 feet (15m) long. It’s an Epson 9600, and can produce very high quality output for family tree charts, it’s just very slow (a big chart can easily take several hours to print).

Contact me via email (darryl@thepeerage.com), letting me know what style of chart you would like, and which family you interested in, and the maximum number of generations you would like printed. I will then produce a sample chart, and email you with the sample output, along its size and a cost estimate.

Note that I can't do charts for families not already on this web-site!

Costs

These prices are really only designed to cover my printing costs (the paper and ink is quite expensive, and international mailing isn’t very cheap either). But if I find that offering this service is taking up a lot of my time I would rather spend adding new info to the web-site, I may put the prices up! .
The cost of producing a chart is based on the length of the chart:

Per chart: US$30 for the first chart,

Chart size: US$1 per foot long (per 0.3m)
Printing on heavy-weight bond paper (170gsm), either 2 feet or 3.5 feet wide as required, with a white background.

If you want a colour background, the cost will per foot will be significantly higher (at least double), and will depend on the ink coverage % – contact me directly (darryl@thepeerage.com).

Each additional copy of the same chart mailed at the same time is a 50% discount from fro the price of the first chart.

Note: Includes packing and shipping via airmail (5-10 days) anywhere in the world.

Examples: 1 chart, 3 feet long = US$33
                  1 chart, 10 feet long = US$40
                  2 charts, each 10 feet long = US$40 + US$20 = US$60
                  5 charts, each 3 feet long = US$33 + US$16.50 x 4 = US$99


Payment

The easiest way to pay is via PayPal (send payment to darryl@thepeerage.com). However I will also accept payment by mail (money orders in any currency, or US$/AUD$/Euro/NZ$ cheques) or direct deposit to my New Zealand bank account.
